President Biden's trip to the Twin Cities on Monday includes a speech in the northern metro.
The White House announced that the president speaks at the Cummins Power Generation plant in Fridley.
This is part of Biden's "Investing in America" tour, promoting a clean energy economy, the rebuilding of the nation's infrastructure, and American manufacturing.
Cummins makes generators and engines, and last fall announced plans to become the first in the US to make electrolyzers.
An electrolyzer is an apparatus that produces clean hydrogen, which, in turn, reduces carbon emissions.
There is no timetable yet on the president's first visit to Minnesota since last year's memorial for Walter Mondale.
