The body of a St. Bonifacius man who had been missing since June 12 was discovered Tuesday, along with the car he owned, according a post shared on Facebook by a group dedicated to the search.
Keegan Oyugi, 26, was last seen leaving the the Prior Lake area on June 12 around 4:30 a.m., heading home to St. Bonifacius. Oyugi was driving a red Ford Mustang with a white stripe along the bottom and temporary Kansas license plates.
According to Minnesota United, Oyugi's body was found inside his vehicle off of Highway 101 at the Shakopee/Savage boarder.
Shortly before 12 p.m. on Tuesday the Savage Police Department reported they were investigating a scene where a vehicle was found in a ditch. The investigation closed Highway 101 westbound to Highway 13.
Oyugi lived and worked in the community near Crown College and graduated from Crown two years ago
He was a star basketball player and worked for the college’s program.
