Search crews have found the body of a second canoeist that had been missing in far northern Minnesota for more than two weeks.
It was May 19 when 40-year-old Reis Grams and 41-year-old Jesse Haugen were seen going over Curtain Falls in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area.
The falls are located right along Minnesota's border with Canada in a remote area of the BWCA north of Ely.
They were part of a group of five on a canoe trip. While Grams and Haugen went missing, two of the others were rescued from the water while a third made his way to a nearby camp site.
The body of Haugen was found last Friday, while Grams' remains were discovered Monday.
Both were found west of Curtain Falls. Grams was from Lino Lakes, Haugen from Cambridge.
