Officials say charges are expected possibly by Wednesday against five people in custody for last week's shooting death of a 19-year-old man at the Mall of America.

The arrests were made on Saturday morning, hours after Johntae Hudson died, and authorities are still searching for a sixth suspect.

Bloomington Police Chief Booker Hodges details arrest of mall shooting suspects

"We know the how, we know the where, we know the what, and we know the who," said Bloomington police chief Booker Hodges. "We don't know the why this happened. People flat-out are just not cooperating and people just don't want to talk."

Hudson was from St. Paul, and officials say he died of multiple gunshot wounds.

Police say two of those arrested are 18 years old, the others are all 17, and it's believed one of the older suspects pulled the trigger.

In a tweet Tuesday morning, the department said officers were still reviewing evidence and hoped to have the necessary charging documents turned over to county prosecutors by noon on Wednesday.

The shooting happened inside Nordstrom's, one of the anchor tenant of the Mall of America.

That store remained closed on Saturday and reopens on Monday.

A GoFundMe page is raising money in Hodges' memory.
