Charges are now filed against a 20-year old man in connection with a shooting outside Mariucci Arena, where Wayzata High School's graduation was held Saturday night.

Hamza Abdirashid Said of Coon Rapids makes his first court appearance on the charges Tuesday. He's being held in Hennepin County on a $300,000 bond.

Investigators say there had been an argument between several males before the gunfire.

A 49- year old man who was outside the arena with family members and a 19-year old male were hit by gunfire but are expected to survive their injuries.

"And I really would hope that you know the City of Minneapolis and the State of Minnesota would do something about it, to prevent it again from happening in the future," said a young woman was there when the shooting happened.

Speaking to WCCO-TV, another bystander explained what she saw.

"I came outside after the ceremony. I came through a side staircase, and when I walked outside, a family of three came up to me and said, 'don't go outside, there's a shooting.' So after I came out I saw people ducking behind bushes and that's when I kind of realized what was going on. But I wanted to find my family."
