No Zoom meetings on Fridays.
That's what the Citigroup CEO has announced for the company due to "Zoom fatigue" and mental exhaustion during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Fridays will be free of the internal video meetings on the Zoom platform. However, there can still be calls with clients on Fridays, according to CBS and CNN.
"After listening to colleagues around the world, it became apparent we need to combat the 'Zoom fatigue' that many of us feel," CEO Jane Fraser said in the memo in a CBS story, which was shared with CBS MoneyWatch.
Fraser said employees shouldn't take calls outside of work hours and also have healthy boundaries from work. For places like the Middle East, where Friday is considered a weekend, there would be another Zoom-free day.
She also said there would be a companywide holiday on Friday May 28 - a day called "Citi Reset Day" - that would begin the holiday weekend of Memorial Day.
