A Minnesota teen has filed a complaint against Buffalo Wild Wings over alleged harassment she says happened inside the bathroom of one of the chain's restaurants in Owatonna.
18-year-old Gerika Mudra says an employee followed her into the bathroom and told her she had to get out, accusing of her of being a man.
"So I was just like, I am a girl. She was like, you need to get out now. So I showed her I was like, I am a girl. And then she just walked out, didn't even apologize or anything."
That's Mudra explaining her experience in a pre-recorded interview with her attorneys. Mudra says she felt forced to show she has breasts in an attempt to end the harassment.
The nonprofit Gender Justice has filed a discrimination complain with the Minnesota Department of Human Rights.
Attorney Sara Jane Baldwin represents Mudra and talked with WCCO-TV.
"Of course, then love to see them commit to doing better, commit to creating a culture in a workplace where people aren't subject to to these sorts of, this sort of harassment and discrimination," Baldwin explained.
