The Republican leader in the Minnesota House is again accusing the Governor of "going it alone" in making new restrictions on bars and restaurants.
Minority Leader Kurt Daudt says the Governor should be letting more voices be heard when it comes to COVID-19 responses.
On with WCCO's Chad Hartman, Daudt wondered what good new restrictions are if people are not following the ones in place already.
"By restricting bars and restaurants even further, are we going to solve the problem? The spread (of COVID) wasn't happening by people who are maintaining six feet of distance and who were social distancing in the proper way. The spread was happening by people who were, frankly, having college parties and keggers."
Daudt says the restrictions will be more difficult for smaller bars and restaurants.
