While both the Twins and Vikings are out of town this weekend, that doesn't mean traffic will be better downtown.
The City of Minneapolis will close North First Avenue from Third Street to Seventh Street because of the Warehouse District Live block party happening both Friday and Saturday night. Closures will also happen on these cross streets:
Fourth Street, from Hennepin Avenue to North Second Avenue.
Fifth Street, from Hennepin Avenue to North Second Avenue.
Sixth Street, from Hennepin Avenue to North Second Avenue.
The roads will close starting at 7pm each night and reopen the following morning at 5am.
