A shooting that unfolded inside an Edina gym late Wednesday night is under investigation.
Officers from the Edina Police Department and surrounding agencies responded to the reported shooting at LA Fitness on the 4100 block of West 76th Street around 8 p.m.
Edina police reported on social media that the shooting was not an active shooter, adding that it appeared there was a disturbance in the gym earlier in the evening, which resulted in the suspects returning to the gym and firing off at least one round during a second confrontation.
No one was injured and police said the suspects fled the gym in a vehicle.
Investigators are reviewing security footage and talking to witnesses to help identify the suspects.
