Eight people were injured in a mass shooting in south Minneapolis Sunday night, the area's second mass shooting in nine days.
It happened just before 6:00 p.m. near East Franklin and Chicago avenues.
Three adults were injured, along with five teenage boys.
"This location has been a hot spot for criminal activity in the past," said Minneapolis police chief Brian O'Hara. "We do not have any information that would indicate that this would have been random."
Police found at least 41 shell casings at the scene.
O'Hara said they believe two gunmen are responsible.
They were reportedly wearing hoodies and armed with at least one assault weapon.
There are no arrests.
This follows a mass shooting on Aug. 11 in south Minneapolis that left one person dead outside a popular punk music house venue.
