The family of Maddie Kingsbury is hosting a gathering Friday evening for her friends and others who have helped in the search at Winona Veteran’s Park.
On Facebook, family members said there would not be any big searches this weekend because they said the police are looking in a specific area and it doesn't require a large scale search.
Madeline's mother Krista Naber says they remain hopeful right now for us.
“You know, we all have our different hopes and of course, we all would be thrilled if she were able to return to us alive,” says Naber.
The 26-year old mother of two was last seen dropping off her children at a day care on the morning of March 31. Police have said they are still not able to name a suspect or a person of interest.
The most recent search took place last weekend.
“We got through a huge downpour at the end, but were met with a rainbow,” explained Naber. “That makes for a good ending, I guess, for a big search day.”
