A Minneapolis firefighter is recovering, after being injured while battling a house fire.
It happened a little after noon in the 2000 block of Elliot Avenue. Firefighters say the fire burned the second floor, the attic, and through the roof of the home there.
The two adults and three kids were able to make it out safely, but will not be able to continue living there. One firefighter had to go to the hospital with a shoulder injury.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
