Wednesday at Farmfest, WCCO's Political Analyst Blois Olson moderated a panel discussion on Rural Resiliency presented by the Minnesota Corn Growers.

The panel discussed the Biden Administration’s U.S. Energy plan and the Minnesota Clean Energy Plan. Topics included how expansion of ethanol, biodiesel and other renewable fuels fit into the Clean Energy Plan, and opportunities and limitations of wind, solar and electric energy.

There were several high-profile Minnesotans on the panel, including MN Representative Angie Craig, Congressman Pete Stauber and Minnesota Commerce Commissioner Grace Arnold. Other panelists included State Senator Gary Dahms of Redwood Falls, Nicollet County Farmer and President of the MN Corn Growers Association Tim Waibel, Lincoln County Farmer and MN Soybean Growers Association Board member Bob Worth, and CEO of Novel Energy Solutions Cliff Kaehler.
