Police in the Twin Cities are investigating three reported homicides that happened within a 24-hour period.
That includes a shooting and stabbing death overnight in Minneapolis, and a shooting death in St. Paul on Thursday.
So far, one suspect is in custody.
In Minneapolis, one person is dead, another was arrestred after a northside homicide last night.
It happened just after 10:00 p.m. in the 400 block of 33rd Avenue North.
Police found a man who had been shot dead inside a residence there.
Also on the scene, the suspect, who was taken into custody.
Polcice say a gun was also recovered nearby according to police.
So far, there are no ID's of either the suspect or victim, and no word on what led to the shooting.
Friday morning, Minneapolis police were on the scene of a deadly stabbing that happened just before 4:00 a.m. at a home in the 2000 block of Queen Avenue North.
The victim transported to the hospital in grave condition but pronounced dead a short time later.
Detectives and Crime Lab personel are on the scene collecting evidence.
No one is in custody.
St. Paul Police are still investigating after two men were found shot to death overnight Thursdy.
Reports of gunfire came in around 3: 30 a.m. near Payne and East North Streets.
The victims were taken to Regions Hospital where they were pronounced dead.
Detectives believe that one person is responsible for the shooting.
