Another person has died following the mass shooting on May 30 that claimed the life a of Minneapolis police officer.
36-year-old Mohamed Aden died from multiple gunshot wounds Friday at Hennepin Healthcare.
Nine days earlier, he was shot inside an apartment building in the 200 block of Blaisdell Avenue.
Another person was found fatally shot in the same apartment building as Aden.
MPD officer Jamal Mitchell was shot and killed as he approached the suspected shooter ID'ed by the the Minnesota BCA as Mustafa Ahmed Mohamed.
The convicted felon who had two active warrants at the time of his death was killed in the shootout with officers.
Three others — another officer, a firefighter and a civilian — were injured in the violence.
Memorial services for Officer Mitchell are Tuesday in Maple Grove.
