A major festival back underway this weekend in Northeast Minneapolis.
Fulton Brewing's Oktoberfest returns both Friday and Saturday at their production site in northeast.
New this year, the festival will incorporate its annual Gran Fondo bike ride into Saturday's Oktoberfest celebration. The bike ride takes cyclists on 100, 50, or 24 mile routes.
This year the ride benefits Free Bikes 4 Kidz, a nonprofit that refurbishes used bikes, pairs them with a brand-new helmet, and connects them with a kid in need.
Of course, expect the full authentic German beer lineup plus bratwurst, Bavarian pretzels the size of your head, traditional meterwurst and plenty of oompah-oompah Polka bands.
They also have activities for the kids if you make it a family outing.
