A private funeral for House Speaker Emerira Melissa Hortman takes place on Saturday, beginning at 10:30 a.m.
This comes after Hortman lies in state at the capitol building.
That'll happen on Friday afternoon, and the public can pay their respects from noon until 5:00 p.m.
Minnesota Governor Tim Walz made the announcement of the services Tuesday morning.
Seating at the service is limited, and it will be livestreamed on the Minnesota Department of Safety YouTube channel.
Hortman is the first woman to lie in state at the capitol, and honor given to fewer than twenty Minnesotans, according to officials from Walz' office.
Hortman and her husband were shot and killed on June 14, their golden retriever also killed in the attack at their home in Brooklyn Park.
Hortman, her husband, and their dog "Gilbert" will all lie in state on Friday.
State Senator John Hoffman and his wife were wounded in a separate attack in Champlin, not long before the shooting at the Hortman residence.
Hoffman and his wife both survived the shooting, with the Senator still hospitalized.
The man accused in the shootings, Vance Boelter, was arrested after a massive manhunt that ended nearly two days after the shootings.
Boelter is scheduled to be in court again on Friday.
