Administrators for the Buffalo School District say classes at all school buildings are starting two hours late Friday because of a gas leak in the vicinity of the high school.

Parents were notified earlier and students who showed up on time were taken home until the all-clear comes.

Several roads are closed including County Road 35 between Canterbury Avenue and Crossroad Campus Drive. Authorities are asking drives to plan for an alternate route.

There are no injuries reported. Buffalo school administrators say the delay in classes is a precautionary move.
