Minneapolis police have arrested a 27-year-old man in connection with a deadly hit and run.
It happened on July 18 on Washington Street near 21st avenue in north Minneapolis.
Andrew Hyde was behind the wheel of his prized 1964 Chevy Impala when he was stuck and killed by the suspect driving a stolen vehicle.
A passenger in that car was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The suspect had run from the scene before police arrived.
Investigators say the suspect in the hit-and-run is the same man wanted for assaulting a police officer last weekend during a traffic stop, dragging him a short distance in the car door before fleeing.
The officer was not seriously injured.
Charges are not yet filed in either case.
