One person is dead following a shooting on the 3800 block of Chicago Avenue in Minneapolis, near the area known by many as George Floyd Square.
Police say the shooting happened inside a home around 7:45 p.m. Friday.
The man who was shot is believed to be in his 40's.
He died after being taken to a hospital.
Names are not released.
There are no arrests.
This is the 14th reported homicide in Minneapolis this years.
The intersection of 38th and Chicago is where George Floyd was killed while in police custody nearly two years ago.
