The next major highway construction project for the Twin Cities is underway in the southwest metro.
Crews are creating new EZ Pass lanes in both directions on Interstate 4-94 from highway 100 to 35-W.
They're also going to be adding a new ramp and doing work on overhead bridges.
Motorists can expect weekend, night-time and directional closures... along with the closing down of some ramps and loops.
