Police in Wyoming, Minnesota have arrested a man they say struck and killed a woman with a vehicle outside a convenience store last night.
That incident happened shortly before 10:30 last night on Kettle River Blvd. Police and fire arrived and found the woman injured in the parking lot. She later died.
The man responsible fled the scene but was arrested this morning after asking officers to meet with him at his nearby residence. Names of those involved haven't been released.
Wyoming Police say the suspect is known to the victim but has not been located at this time. Investigators are actively checking possible locations for the suspect.
The Wyoming Police Department is leading the investigation with assistance from the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, the Chisago County Sheriff’s Office and the Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office.
