A man was shot and killed after reportedly assaulting someone inside a south Minneapolis home early Saturday.
Police were called to the 3800 block of Grand Avenue South, located several blocks east of Lakewood Cemetery.
The man was found with multiple gunshot wounds and later died at a local hospital.
Police believe the man had violated a restraining order and had forced his way into the home.
Several people were inside the home, and so far there are no arrests.
This is the fourth reported homicide in Minneapolis this year.
