A Maple Grove Police officer was injured early Thursday morning when a semitruck hit the median on Interstate 94.
It happened near the Rogers-Maple Grove area, sending concrete into the road, and hitting the officer's squad car.
That stretch of highway near the Dayton Parkway exit was closed for almost two hours before reopening just before 7:00 a.m. The accident caused some significant backups as well.
The State Patrol reports the officer was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Nobody else was hurt.
