Saturday is record store day and that means big business for places such as Electric Fetus.
The preparation is immense says Electric Fetus' Bob Fuchs.
"Record Store Day has been on our agenda for about the last three months. At least," says Fuchs.
It's one of their biggest and busiest days of the year.
"It's our Super Bowl. It's our State Fair. It's our major circus," says Fuchs. "It's all good fun though."
And when they get there, they'll open their doors to a mass of people.
"We usually have 200, 300, 400 people lined up waiting for the special records or for a product," he says.
It's not just 10 or 15 items, either. It's much bigger.
"There are close to 500 titles coming out," Fuchs adds.
Some of those new releases include Beatles three-inch records and a reissue of Willie Nelson's "Stages and Phases". Fuchs says artists have really gotten behind the resurgence of music sales on vinyl.
"A lot of ambassadors for Record Store Day," he says. "Taylor Swift or Brandi Carlisle, Jack White, Paramore this year. They brought a lot of attention, year-in year-out, to this culture. And it has made a significant difference in the livelihood of record stores and in the music business around the country."
A lot of preparation for a small, local record store. But it's well worth it. Electric Fetus expects they'll see six to eight times more business than a typical Saturday.
