Minneapolis man pleads guilty to arson during George Floyd unrest

A Minneapolis man accused in an arson attack during the unrest following the death of George Floyd has pleaded guilty to one felony count.

Matthew Scott White entered his plea Friday.

It was May 28th when a fire leveled the Enerprise Rent-A-Car business on Unversity Avenue in St. Paul.

According to the charges, White was identified by investigators through surveillance video footage from cameras inside and outside of the building.
