Minneapolis Police are busy investigating a pair of shootings Sunday night.
The first happened just before 8:00 p.m. with a call to 27th and Nicollet in South Minneapolis on a report of shots fired following an argument.
There, police learned the 18-year old victim was taken to a nearby residence. The victim was then transported to the hospital but later died.
The second incident happened around 2:00 a.m. near 5th and Hennepin in Downtown Minneapolis.
Two men said to be in their 20's sustained life-threatening injuries, while a woman in her 30's is expected to survive her injuries.
Police say the shootings happened near a crowd and it followed some sort of a verbal altercation like the other shooting.
No arrests in either case and Minneapolis Police say they're investigating.
There were no other major issues Sunday with thousands downtown for the Taste of Minnesota. There were more issues with fireworks, especially in Dinkytown on the night of July 4th. But no gun violence was reported by police during those incidents.
