A man is facing murder charges after allegedly killing his coworker with a sledgehammer.

It happened at Advanced Process Technologies in Cokato around 6:00 in the morning Tuesday.


Wright County authorities say 40-year old David Bruce Delong, faces one count of second-degree murder.

There's surveillance video showing the man leaving his workstation and approaching the victim. He is shown grabbing a sledgehammer and hitting the woman who died from her injuries.

Investigators say Delong confessed to the murder, saying that he intended to kill the victim and had been planning it for some time.

He added that he didn’t like her.
