Kyle Rudolph is retiring from the National Football League.
Rudolph, who spent 10 of his 12 NFL seasons with the Minnesota Vikings, will now join Peacock as a Big Ten analyst and as a radio co-host on Fox Sports Radio this fall.
The 33-year-old was drafted by the Vikings in the second round back in 2011.
After his tenure with the Vikings ended in 2021, Rudolph went on to play a season with the New York Giants and spent the 2022 season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Along with his impact on the field that led to him being named a two-time Pro Bowler, Rudolph made a significant impact off the field as well.
In 2017, Kyle and Jordan Rudolph opened Kyle Rudolph’s End Zone at University of Minnesota Masonic Children’s Hospital. The state-of-the-art 2,500 sq ft. provides children and teens a space to hang out and be themselves as they battle health challenges.
As result, Rudolph was nominated for the Walter Payton Man of the Year award for two straight seasons by the Vikings.
The Vikings plan to honor Rudolph during their home game against the Chargers on September 24.
