Minnesota's latest round of winter weather left 3.5 inches of snow at the National Weather Service office in Chanhassen on Tuesday along with 2.4 inches at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport.
The Minnesota State Patrol reported 212 crashes between 12 p.m. Tuesday and 8 a.m. Wednesday. 235 reports of vehicles spinning out or going into the ditch occurred during that time, with one fatal crash taking place in Faribault County.
The Minnesota Department of Transportation is again reminding motorists to slow down following the latest band of snow.
Partially and completely covered roads remained an issue outside of the Twin Cities on Wednesday morning as crews worked to clear the roads.
