Delta resumed non-stop flights between Minneapolis-St. Paul and Seoul-Incheon International Airports this week for the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic began.
The first of the 6,000-mile and 12-hour direct flights left MSP on Wednesday, said airport spokesperson Jeff Lea. He said the flights are the 25th international flights to return to MSP.
“The business sector and then international flying has been slower to recover,” Lea said. “This flight certainly is a chance to boost our business service and our international (service) recovery.”
The route is operating three times per week and will increase to daily service on October 29.
