One man is dead after a crash in the area of 45th Street East and Cedar Avenue in Minneapolis.
In the single-vehicle crash, which happened at 4:57am on Friday, one man was found behind the wheel. Minneapolis Police were able to pull the man from the car but he had no pulse and wasn't breathing. The officers attempted live-saving measures but were unsuccessful. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.
MPD says that their preliminary investigation shows that speed and drugs were a factor in the crash.
The driver will be identified at a later date according to Minneapolis Police.
