
St. Paul police say they've arrested a 34-year-old man in connection with Friday's reported homicide inside a house in the city's Frogtown neighborhood.
Officers found the woman inside the home at 330 Edmund Ave. around 5:00 a.m. after they were called about an injured woman.
A two-year-old girl was also inside the home, and was not hurt.
St. Paul police Sgt. Toy Vixayvong says she the baby was the victim's daughter.
"Luckily, the child was left unharmed," he said. "This is a very tragic event, it effects not only the family but the whole community. It's a very unfortunate incident."
So far no arrests, and there is a person of interest according to Vixayvong.
The cause of the woman's death has not been revealed.
