One is dead from gunshot wounds on the south side of Minneapolis.
The city's 62nd reported homicide of the year happened just after 10:00 p.m. Thursday near 26th Street and Bloomington in south Minneapolis.
The MPD says officers heard what sounded like gunfire.
As they investigated, they found an adult male, in his 30's, laying in the road suffering from gunshot wounds.
He was taken to the hospital and later died.
Investigators spent part of the night canvassing the area looking for any witnesses.
No one is in custody and there is no identification of the victim yet.
