Minneapolis Police are investigating an overnight shooting that left a man dead.
There's no ID of the victim, and authorities say one person is in custody.
It happened just before midnight late Thursday in the 2000 block of James Avenue North.
It's there police found an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound.
He died at the scene.
Investigators say the man was shot by a family member while inside a residence at that location.
Details of exactly what led up to the shooting are still being looked into.
This is the 29th reported homicide of the year in Minneapolis, and the seventh in nine days.
