U.S. Bank Stadium has one of rock and pop music's biggest names of all-time bringing a show to Minneapolis this October:

Welcome Sir Paul McCartney. The music legend and former Beatle is coming October 17 with his "Got Back Tour."

The presale registration will begin today, Thursday, July 10 at 7:00 a.m. You can sign up at paulmccartneygotback.com.

The actual artist presale will happen Tuesday, July 15 at 10:00 a.m. through Thursday, July 17 at 10:00 p.m. There is also a local presale Thursday, July 17 at 10:00 a.m. through Thursday, July 17 at 10:00 pm. The general, public sale of tickets starts Friday, July 18 at 10:00 a.m.

McCartney hasn't toured in the U.S. since 2022, spending 2023 and 2024 doing shows internationally.

It's been a while since Sir Paul has hit the Twin Cities. He played two nights at Target Center in 2016. He did one night at Target Field in 2014, and that was his first show in Minnesota going back to 2005.

McCartney, now 83-years old, has been an extremely successful solo artist since The Beatles broke up in 1970 and he started his band Wings. It is sure to be one of the biggest shows ever at U.S. Bank Stadium along with Taylor Swift, Metallica, Ed Sheeran and Morgan Wallen.

McCartney's tour kicks off September 29 in Palm Desert, California and wraps up in Chicago November 25.

McCartney has written or co-written a record 32 songs that have topped the Billboard Hot 100 and, as of 2009, he had sales of 25.5 million RIAA-certified units in the US. His honors include two inductions into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (as a member of the Beatles in 1988 and as a solo artist in 1999), an Academy Award, a Primetime Emmy Award, 19 Grammy Awards, an appointment as a Member of the Order of the British Empire in 1965 and an appointment as Knight Bachelor in 1997 for services to music.
