On Wednesday morning, Minneapolis police were involved in a shooting while reportedly executing a search warrant at an apartment building.
The incident occurred early Wednesday morning at the Bolero Flats Apartments at 11th and Marquette across from Orchestra Hall.

Civil rights activist, attorney, and member of Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey's workgroup on developing public safety and accountability recommendations, Nekima Levy-Armstrong, shared that interim police chief Amelia Huffman informed her of the shooting in a Facebook post.
"An MPD swat team was apparently executing a search warrant for the St. Paul Police in a homicide case. The person was shot and killed," Levy-Armstrong wrote in her post. "I asked Chief Huffman if she had seen the body camera footage and she has not. They are waiting for it to be uploaded into the system this AM."
Police vehicles from both St. Paul and Minneapolis are on scene, according to WCCO-TV, as well as the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension.
There has been no comment from the Minneapolis Police Department, St. Paul Police Department, or the BCA on the situation. No further details are available at this time.
This is a developing story and will be updated as more information becomes available.
