A "police operation" involving several agencies got underway Wednesday morning at two Brooklyn Center hotels.
In an early morning Facebook post, the Brooklyn Center Police Department said the operation focused around the Travelodge and Super 8 hotels on James Circle in Brooklyn Center. Police added it was part of, "an ongoing criminal investigation involving suspected human trafficking, narcotics distribution, firearms offenses, and other criminal activity."
The public's asked to avoid the area and follow any temporary traffic restrictions or directions from law enforcement. More details are expected to be released later in the day on Wednesday.
