For the second consecutive year, MNsure sets an enrollment record. Over 151,000 Minnesotans will receive health care coverage starting January 1st.

"We are just thrilled with those numbers, but we still have some work to do," says MNsure CEO Libby Caulum. "And anyone who signs up for coverage between now and January 15th will have coverage that starts on February 1st."

Who qualifies?

"Anybody who isn't offered health insurance through their employer," Caulum explains. "So these are folks who might be entrepreneurs, small business owners, farmers, students."

Why would you chose MNsure?

"We're the only place that you can go in Minnesota to get a discount on your health insurance premium," Caulum adds.

Tax credit?

Caulum explains that this is a tax credit that's applied to your premium.

"It's something that you can apply though straight to your premium," Caulum said. "So every month you would be receiving that tax credit in real time so it acts like an instant discount."

The final deadline to enroll is January 15th, with coverage starting February 1st. You can visit MNsure.org to see if you qualify.
