One is dead and another hospitalized with gunshot wounds following a shooting Friday afternoon in north Minneapolis.
The MPD says a 15-year-old male died at the scene on the 24-hundred block of Dupont Avenue.
The wounded person is a 16-year-old male who remains hospitalized at North Memorial in Robbinsdale.
Police say the two were walking when gunfire erupted from a passing vehicle.
There are no arrests, and authorities are asking the public for help finding the suspects.
According to the MPD, this was the 95th reported homicide of 2021 in Minneapolis, two short of the all-time high set in 1995.
