Political differences are nothing new in the U.S. and in Minnesota these days. And nothing brings people together like a meal. Now, a restaurant in Minnesota is trying to mend some fences by offering free food to politicians - but there's a hitch:

Sweeney's Saloon in St. Paul says the meals are on them. But only if state lawmakers can set aside differences and smooth things over between Democrats and Republicans.

Owner Will Rolfe told the Pioneer Press in a tied Minnesota House, currently sitting at 67-67, compromise is the only way to get things done.

The saloon has a picture of GOP lawmaker Bjorn Olsen and Democrat Brad Tabke to promote their "dine across the aisle" deal.

So far they're the only two to take Sweeney's up on his offer.
