A church volunteer in Roseville is facing sexual assault charges against four children between the ages of four and six.
50-year old Joshua Seeman worked at Kings Lutheran Church and School for the past two years according to police. Earlier this month, investigators say they were contacted by the parents of several students who had reported the allegations.
Police say Seeman is cognitively delayed with a long history of sexual assault involving adults dating back over 20 years but those cases were not prosecuted due to his mental acuity.
He remains in the Ramsey County Jail.
Schools are required to conduct background checks on volunteers under Minnesota law, however many choose to do so anyway.
