Roseville police are asking the public for help after a kidnapping and assault that took place on Wednesday.
A woman reported to police that a masked man with a gun approached her around 5pm Wednesday as she left a business near County Road C and East Snelling Service Drive in Roseville.
She was eventually released several hours later on the east side of St. Paul and was treated at the hospital.
Investigators are asking anyone who saw something unusual in the area of County Road C and East Snelling Service Drive between 3:00 p.m. and 10 p.m. on Wednesday to call police. Neighbors, businesses and motorists in the area are asked to check surveillance, doorbell or dash-camera video for suspicious activity.
Roseville police also noted that residents should stay alert, and take necessary precautions as this is an ongoing, active investigation.
