A shooting overnight in St. Paul left one man dead and another injured. It happened around 11:00 p.m. in the city's north end in the 90 block of Manitoba Avenue West.
"Lots of loss, sadness and upset people based on tonight's events. So, we're thinking of those family members, we're thinking of the community, and trying to come up with answers as we speak," says Molly McMillen, spokesperson for the St. Paul Police Department.
Officers found one man shot dead on the scene, the other grazed by a bullet. The victim has been identified as 21 year-old Jonathan Andrew Wade of St. Cloud. He was taken to the hospital. His condition is not known.
Officers spent the night interviewing possible witnesses and looking for any security footage in the area. So far, no ID of the victims and no arrests have been made.
It's the 21st homicide of the year in St. Paul.
