Police in Brooklyn Center are investigating a shooting that left six juveniles injured Sunday night in what appears to have been some sort of a shootout.

It happened around 6:45 pm in a parking lot in the 5600 block of Brooklyn Blvd near Northport Park.

Police say they think upwards of fifty rounds were fired by three different guns at least.

All of the injured victims were under the age of 18, and all received treatment at North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale.

Police say none of them was on the scene when they arrived, but all showed up at the hospital in private vehicles.

Dozens of shell casings were discovered by police near the Girl Scouts River Valleys Service Center.

All of the injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening.

There are no arrests but police say they have several leads.
