Two people were on board a small aircraft that crashed at Buffalo Municipal Airport over the weekend.
Buffalo police and fire departments were called to the scene around 4:20 p.m. on Sunday after a two-seat, single-engine plane was reportedly upended during takeoff.
The National Transportation Safety Board and the FAA are now leading a joint review to determine what led up to the accident.
WCCO-TV reported that the plane was headed to Montana, and witnesses saw emergency crews take one person away immediately by ambulance.
There have been no details released on the conditions or the identities of those on board.
