Another day of unhealthy air across much of Minnesota Friday.
Smoke from those Canadian wildfires will again have an effect here with the warning for those who are prone to have breathing problems, also the very young and more elderly.
Health experts say no one should be out in the smoke for extended periods of time.
MPCA forecaster Nicholas Witcraft said these types of alerts are reserved for specific areas of Minnesota.
"This one's unusual, it's affecting the whole, entire state, and it's a large magnitude," he said. "Most of it is straight, black carbon coming from the fire."
The Air Quality Alert is scheduled to end Friday afternoon, as the winds will shift and make way for a much nicer weekend.
