Watch out when you park over the next few days in the Twin Cities.

Both Minneapolis and St. Paul have declared snow emergencies following the weekend snowstorm.

In Minneapolis, there's no parking on the even-numbered side of snow emergency routes.

That will be reversed tomorrow when the parking ban goes into effect for the odd-numbered side of snow emergency routes.

That will be the end of the snow emergency in Minneapolis.

In St. Paul, day plow routes will be cleared by snowplows, which means no parking in those areas.

Crews will plow St. Paul night routes after dark.

In both cities, vehicles illegally parked will be ticketed and towed.

St. Paul's snow emergency lasts through Thursday night.
