The snowiest start to December since 1991 has many winter sports lovers smiling.

Snow may be a nuisance for drivers, but for businesses and winter lovers? The wintery weather is welcome.

"In normal years, if I can get out once before Christmas, it's a really good year," says cross country skier David Hong who has already been out three times this year.

As for the trails at Theadore Worth Park?

"The trails have been fantastic," he says.

Devin Sundquist is marketing and communications director at the park and is ecstatic about the snowfall.

"So happy. We're in the very fortunate position that it's always winter at Worth," says Sundquist. "We make our own snow, but the addition of Mother Nature has just been so wonderful. We're so excited that we have both man-made and natural trails right now."

So let it snow, let snow, let it snow, right?

"I feel like we're getting a reward for a really too warm fall. I was worried that that would continue into winter, but it just made all of my fears go away," Hong said.

Worth Park which has around 20 miles of trails, and Sundquist says keep it coming.

"We are hoping that Mother Nature continues saying, here's all the snow for you," Sundquist adds.
